Hood Deflector. What do you think? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Just got it today. I was excited to put it on. I also have the side window vent visors on order. I'm not sure if it adds or takes away from the look of the car. Too much plastic? What do you think?

I agree. Your MO looks better without it. Try clear bra or magnet bra to protect the front end...

I can live with the hood deflector, but the window "lids" - what are you thinking? They look so tacky.

But to each their own. Do whatever you think looks good, not what other people tell you. And enjoy the ride.

looks good to me ,where you get it and how much?
I got magnet bra and always did the proper maintenance but the black film start peeling off on the front edge as I put on and off the rubber trim then left it off for a day and cracks up while it was hanging on a chair and also stick to the paint I do not recommend it,paid$45 and only last few months,I used to have a blazer with a hood defelector since new and the hood edge paint was like in new conditons when took off the deflector after 5 years.
can you post a pic from the front?

I've always liked the look of that deflector. It's a hell of a lot better than missing paint.

I vote ugg, (sorry no offense intended). Takes away the sleek lines IMHO.

Clear Bra!

One nice thing about a black Murano....the deflector is barely visible.

MOD: I've merged the two. Thanks for pointing it out.

I use the clear Bra and do not like the Leather (Vinyl?) Bras, but I have no problem with the deflectors.
In a way, they CAN add to the lines of the MO.
BUT, sometimes the color bugs me.
A nice platinum MO is a good looking car for example, but when I see a screaming black deflector, I have to ask, what were they thinking? Seems to me a "smoke" deflector can look better on the lighter colors.

I ordered one from autoseattle.com for $100 shipped. But, when it came in it was cracked in half. I broke during shipping of course. So, they are sending a new one and I am waiting. One thing I like about this one is that it covers more of the front end insetad of the other ones that don't come up as high.
