| I need help! I just got a hitch installed on an 06 Murano, and the u-haul people could not install the wiring harness. They said there were too many wires. I called Nissan dealerships and they wouldn't do it, or it cost $500. Has anyone done this, or does anyone have recommendations? I am moving in 2 weeks and need to get this done. |

| Ok I just called the dealership, and they said the wiring harness. They said you have to take a lot of panels off, but it is all plug and play. So I think I could handle myself. I have wired numerous radios. Is it really that complex or more just making sure you follow the instructions step-by-step. |

| These forums are awesome. Thanks to this forum I saved $400. I wired the hitch harness myself, and it only took me 1hr 30 min - 2hrs. It is not complex at all, and the instructions tell you in detail what is needed. DO NOT have a dealer do it. If you have a screw driver, ratchet set and something to pop panels off cleanly you can do it too. It tells you exactly where to connect and how to run the wire so all parts will go back in smoothly. |
