Homelink Button Rubbed Away - Click HERE for Original Thread
whatsup
My '05 MO has to go in for a tire rotation so I will add a few little things for the dealer to look at while there.

One brake squeels a little every now and again, shouldn't with 35,000 kms (20 miles)on it.

Sticky door handle, no big deal.

The Homelink button we use all of the time has rubbed completely away! I have driven GM and Ford, etc and have never had any button fade away, but an expensive Nissan? Seems like a pretty cheap part to nickle and dime......any else have their button fade away to white plastic?

Maybe its my hook that causes that.......LOL

Switch over to one of the unused (or lesser-used) buttons..... or grind down the sharp edges on that hook of yours. :p

Halo
Heh, yeah button 1 the plack paint has rubbed off, but it took about 2 years. Now we use button 2 and it's holding up pretty good. Not losing too much sleep over it, though. Wear and tear as they say.
