Ok so I just bought a brand new 2006 with 13 miles on the clock on last saturday I opted for the Karr security dealer system. So they sent the guy to activate the alarm and I see the led is green And I asked are sales guy james if we need a extra remote for the system he said no so we hop in and go.
The next day when i get to finnaly give the car a run down I try the remote the led is still green so i hope in and arm the system with the intelligent key I put the metal key in and volia the car starts I thought that the engine would die but it didnt it started up perfectly. So now im thinking go back and demand my remotes but i was wondering if you guys could give any insight
My next catch is on the nissan dvd system I start the car and then open the console I push power nothing happens I put a disc in and it comes to life so I close the lid and go to flip my screen up and nothing is on the screen so I hit aux to flip the output but I see my player is sitting there dead nothing on and i push a botton and nothing happens until i hit eject so any tips
Thanks some details on my ride 2006 pearl with mocha leather sun roof touring package no nav or traction control but i love this car and its a sl fwd |

wicked-
I am not familiar with your alarm, but I suggest you contact the installer and have him explain the system to you and provide you with the necessary documentation (installation and operators manuals).

That's obviously the major problem, wicked. Not many here have purchased an after market alarm and of those, I have yet to hear the Karr system mentioned.
joe's advice is about the best we can do.......... |

Put up a separate post on the DVD and put it in the Audio and Electronics forum.
Sorry, but I know nothing about the DVD player.
