I am really concerned about parking lot "dings".
Does anyone have any experience installing this type of molding and where is a good source to purchase from?

If you do a search on the forums, you'll find sources where people have bought their moldings. Here's a link:

The moldings integrate beautifully (IMHO) to the Murano. I had concerns, but after installing them, I found that they look fine and really do help prevent dings. I installed my a little lower than recommended - I the instructions specify 12 " above the lower crease line on the body, but I think I did 9".
