You can do the same thing I did when my Jeep got rear-ended. I pulled out the Yellow Pages and located a distributor that supplied body parts to the body shops. I ordered a bumper, tail lights, and trim. Although the parts were not marked as being "Genuine Jeep/Chrysler" parts, the new bumper and lights had the same style date stamps molded in the same location as the parts I removed. It was as if they came from the same molds. I took the bumper to a local body shop and they painted it an exact match to my CharGold Jeep. I took the damaged parts off and replaced them with the new ones, and pocketed the remaining $600.
It was a piece of cake.

The fact that you have one of the oldest MOs will work in your favor. There is a greater chance of finding an '03 in a salvage yard than an '06.
Check out http://www.junkyarddog.com . You put in the parts you are looking for and the salvage yards in your area will provide you with quotes.

I bought an aftermarket fender off ebay painted and shipped to me for $379 seller also was offering OEMfront bumper cover for $560 painted,everything could run you around $1400 installing it yourself,a local shop estimate me once $970 for one fender and $800 for the front bumper on an small dent on it which i end up covering it with a bullbar. .
totalling in your case around $2700.
so if interested i can find you the sellers user id and you contact him and save yourself around $1300. |
