WOW!!

I spend a lot of time researching vehicles and use the threads and forum from various sources but I can't get over the number of negative feedbacks I have read from owners.

You get your normal negtive critics but I checked out the yahoo forum and there are more than just an 'ample' number of people that do not recommend the vehicle.

E-

Wow is right. I am not sure I would buy a MO based solely on those reviews.

I did not read the YAHOO reviews before I bought my 2005 MO. However, I did read hundreds of posting on this site and realized the MO is a very good car. Does it have problems? Yes. Were many of those problems corrected with each successive model year? Yes, for the most part. Is it a fun car to drive? Yes. Is it a good long-distance cruiser? Yes. Do I find it a reliable mode of transportation? Yes. Would I buy it again? Yes. Do I think the reviews on Yahoo are totally worthless? Yes, for the most part.

Don't base your decision on the Yahoo reviews.

Actually I knew what I was going to see before I went there. I used to "try" and pursue my investment career on Yahoo. I finally gave up and joined a professional web site (www.valuforum.com).

"Pros: I rode this once its pretty good but just isint good
Cons: everything
its has very good caulity but is not good for seniors to drive Though I think its good"

This is not an unusual letter for Yahoo.
Why would I care what this individual thinks?
1- he doesn't own one.
2- he is (hopefully) on drugs.

Note that the overall rating is not too bad. 3.5 stars out of 5. More people will sign on to knock a car, any car, than will sign on to praise.
The car continues to improve.
The 04 was better than the 03.
The 05 was better than the 04, etc.

I don't know, I looked at that link and generally most of the poorer comments were on the 1st pages. Did you read the rest of the reviews on the following pages? They got better on the subsequent pages and the ratings were higher as you went further along. Yikes, one person complained and gave the MO a bad rating because one had hit her Honda, caused damage to the Honda, and none to the Murano.

Chances are that the people who complained about bumpy rides had too much air pressure in their tires. Mine was delivered, as I believe most are with about 50lbs in each tire. Part of the dealer prep I think, is to reduce the tire pressure to an appropriate level, but this seems to rarely get done.

As has been stated before, check other forums and you'll see good and bad reviews no matter where you look.

I like my MO and may decide to trade it on another when the time comes.

I agree 1110% with Joe.

I am in love:D with my MO and this car is the first car I EVER fell in love with. And my MO just died the other day.

As a matter of fact: My husband* and I love it so much, that soon after we got the MO, we got the Titan. I love that truck, too.

*he's a reformed "American Truck" type of guy*

Since I am the queen of the 3 year lease: love 'em and leave 'em, I can tell you EVERY car out there out there has problems (or the potential for problems).

You can do all the research you want, but you have to feel it in your gut. Everything from appliances to vehicles has a potential for problems.
Nothing is perfect in life.

On this forum mostly owners post and we all talk about problems mostly, so that others can benefit. But the fact is that if you count the number of times people have said they love their MOs vs the times they said otherwise, love will clearly come on top...:4:

Gotta love this one:

Pros: The owner will probably survive a crash
Cons: They are potential lethal weapons to everyone else, poor visibility???

I got hit by a Murano in the parking lot.

I own a 2001 Honda. The other driver had a Murano
No damage to their car. Not even a scratch

About $2,000 worth of damage to my rear bumper.

I guess that's good news for Murano owners.

Question is, what am I going to do?

1) Yahoo allows you to rate the Murano whether you own one or not.

2) The MO must be a lethal weapon. Afterall, it was invloved in an accident. No other make of car has ever bumped into another car in a parking lot.

3) To answer the question at the end of the informative review: insurance.

Well said. No mention of the fact that we have no idea who was at fault! My answer to the question: "Buy a Murano dummy!"

As to the Yahoo forums, don't believe everything you read, much of this drivel is posted by kiddies surfing around between myspace pages. Hardly a reliable source of info.

I gave a review, I'll see if it shows up in a few days... good but fair review I thought.

Just remember that its human nature to spread the word about a product failure. No one runs to the computer to tell you they have a trouble free ride, they have more important things to do in life. However, if you feel that you have been betrayed by a product, then you seek retaliation by posting negative comments.

NISSAN MURANO-

The car, the look, the ride, the enjoyment of driving one... :29:

The dealer, the service department, the lies, the false promises...:28:

Enough said.
