| Wondering if this issue in my wife's MO is normal or not....we recently noticed that when chaging the dash illumination setting from it's lowest seeting towards the brightest it gradually increases in barely noticeable increments until you are about to the max then one click and it gets EXTREMELY bright....can't get fine adjustment from this point forward.....same on the return from bright to low illumination....is this "jump" normal??? |

My dimmer experiences the same "jump". However, I do not perceive it as a problem because the brightness level just before the jump is still too bright for my tastes. My setting is several notches below the jump.

| Yep, the jump is normal. I have that on my 05 as well. It is pretty strange, but I found a brightness that I like so it doesn't bother me. |

In my 03 it would help if I had the darker gauges like the 06... I would like to turn up the dash more but then the instrument cluster is too dark.
Did you notice that the utility tray below the radio has a light over it.... handy but not bright enough when the dash lights are turned low. |

| Mine has that jump to max brightness too. I admit I like superbright guages and the only reason I don't run max bright all the time is because at that setting the LED's for the odometer have backgrounds that are too bright to read the numerals clearly. Max bright on the odometer btw, is the default daytime brightness. |
