Hey MO's,
I have no problem with the LOOK of my orig. thick-n-heavy wipers - in fact, here on the e.coast, winter ice & snow can put a hurtin' on lighter weights.
I just can't stand the NOISE!!! The incessant SQUEECK-SQUEEKING! Thanks for all suggestions. |

Just a tip for everyone here,
Be careful with the Rain X wiper arms.
They don't stay on, they come loose on use.
Mine got caught right inside the front windshield.
Pain in da azzzzz...going back to Nissan OEM.

Cupido-
Have you tried putting WD-40 on the glass? :2: Only kidding.
I have used Rain-X on the windshields of all my cars. In two cases it quieted down the squeaking wipers.
Good luck.

Hey Joe,
Are you using Rain-X on MO?
If you do, does it fit tightly on the wiper arm.
How did you manage to install it w/o being loose.
Thanks!

Uh, Rain-X is a liquid that you spread thinly on the windshield.........
Good stuff IMO.
What in the world are you thinking of? ;)

| Alternatively you can replace them with Silblades and enjoy perfect wipers all year long. I've had mine for a year, and whereas even premium blades like Bosch Microedge Excel have worn out on me in six months, these Silblades are still perfect! Wish they made a Silblade for the rear wiper too. |

RAIN-X...IT WORKED!
Although I'm curious about the Silblades for future, I just did a quick & easy generous application of the windshield slippery stuff - and so far, my MO squeaks no mo'!
THANKS!!! |

I use Rain-X too but keep in mind it will wear off and your wippers may have issues again. I would suggest you goto the Nissan dealer and purchased some new refills if your problem returns.
Funny with since I use the Rain-X I really actually never use the wippers especially on the highway... ask my wife she will confirm. It drives her nuts but it doesn't bother me when crusing on the highway. |

Understood! - and True! I use the wipers MUCH less with Rain-X. When you think about it, an added bonus is less wear on the wipers' motors!
Outside mirrors and especially the REAR WINDOW also benefit by causing rain to slip & roll off. |

Awesome, time for me to get some RainX for my rear windshield. |

| I also use these in my washer dispenser, along with occasional treatment of liquid rainx |

Cupido-
I am glad it worked.
I have been using Rain-X for years and am very satisfied it. I find that I use my wipers much less, especially when driving at highway speeds. The wind actually blows the rain off of the windshield.
Like all good things, it does not last forever. I usually reapply the Rain-X every three or four months. You can tell when you need another application by how the water runs off the windshield.
I am glad I was able to help.
