I purchased my H&R Springs from SHOX.com
I don't recall the price but they have a lowest price guarantee.
The item is not listed... just shoot them an email.
Tell them you are a member of this forum and you might be able to get a discount.
Pictures show how low H&Rs will settle.
Set up: H&R Springs / 22 inch wheels / 285/35/22

Set up :H&R Springs / 20 inch wheels / 265/50/20 tires

| N2Muranos; how did your ride change going from 20's to 22's since you have less sidewall to give on bumps. Also how is the ride going from stock setup to the lowering springs (did you change the struts too). The Murano has a stiff ride already. I am very curious, I have 20's on mine and I could'nt accept a ride any stiffer than what I have now. |

Thank you for the advice N2Muranos i ordered my H&R springs today with a Z tube and pop charger for the intake asb recommended by many as well as the exhaust set up that Linky posted with the flowmaster resonator and rear exhaust from the Camaro will probably be a while before i get it all shipped down here and installed i'm thinking at least a month or so , will keep you all updated .
Thanks to all |

Sorry for the late response.
There was not a big difference when going from 20s to 22s (at stock height.)
The ride has become a little bit more bumpy with 22s and lowerings springs with stock struts. At highway speeds, the ride is comfortable.
A setup with 20s and lowering springs will be fine. |

N2MURANOS-
I am going way off topic here, but I don't think you'll mind....
That is one sweet-looking MO you have there. :29: I especially like the look with those first set of wheels. It makes you car look sort of "fluid", almost as if it has the properties of mercury.
Okay, let's get back on topic.

| N2; I will stick with the 20's and get the lowering springs. I was told to change the factory shocks/struts as well so you get a better ride. I want to get rid of that wheel gap. Thanks for your input |

The only aftermarket shocks and struts readily available is by KYB.
Their product is a replacement for the original parts and not for lowering purposes. Of course, if you have the money you can buy lowering kits from Japan.
Here's a thread on ways to minimize the wheel well gap.

| Got springs in today will be installing them tomorrow afternoon , hope that they will soften my ride a little like N2muranos said they softened his , also can anyone tell me on how low can i go on air pressure on tyres of 275/45 in order to try to reduce the extra stiffening from the short sidewalls , i should of went with 265/ 55 or 255/60 , but it's a little late now , so what do you think ?? |

| H&R lowering Springs are on , just like N2muranos said , i was surprised that the ride actually smoothened out some with these springs , a little bouncy but defenitely a step softerc then the originals after having installed the 20 ' s . |

I recently bought the H & R spring set and installed on my 05' SE. I have noticed a much rougher ride. I live in PA and the roads here are covered in bumps and potholes. Does anyone have the KYB springs/struts and are they a better ride. I enjoy the better handling but the bumps are killer. It feels like I'm bottoming out alot on bumps that before weren't that bad. I love the look too and want to find a solution to keep these springs on. I know the SE had a stiffer setup to begin with. Anyone else installed H&R on SE?
Thanks |
