Hiya mates,
I was about to go into a long story, but it would probably make people fall asleep, so I'll cut to the chase:
The local dealer said they could window tint my wifes new 2007 Versa for around $200.00.
My question is, is this the kind of tint that will eventually bubble up and look like "pooh pooh" after a couple of hot summers and freezing winters, or is there now some new special method that practically eliminates it?
Thoughts and experiences please.
The wife really wants the tint, but neither of us want that psuedo bubblewrap look :) |

It depends on the film they use. But I would bet that, for $200, they're using the cheapest film they can to maximize their profits. If you're worried about tint quality, go to an aftermarket tint place that uses a good quality/brand of film. The places I use offer a lifetime warranty on the tint.

Thanks Bob,
This stuff has lifetime warranty as well. I just cringe at the thought of the bubble phenomena though. |
