I wonder what I speak.
From news.com.au
"AUSTRALIA'S cricket captain Ricky Ponting has fallen four runs short of a double century on day two of the first Ashes Test at the Gabba. Vice-captain Adam Gilchrist fell straight after for a duck, with both wickets claimed by Matthew Hoggard."
Huh?

I think the person who wrote that was the very same person who proof-read the MO's Service Manual.:D

Ashes Test - a long tradition of cricket Test Matches between Australia and England. Ashes - it is the trophy.
Double century - score of 200 runs. And it is exceptional!
Duck - no score or no run scored by a player......
What I like is this:
Australia amassed a monstrous 9(dec)-602 partway into the final session and England was 3-53 at stumps - still needing 350 more runs to avoid the follow-on, with three days left on a wicket which is beginning to crack up.
And as asmo said: we are flogging the Pomms! :2: :2: :2: |

If I was sitting in a New Jersey bar and a guy leaned over to me and proudly declared that "We're flogging the pomms" I would definitely make a hasty exit.:4:
