Finally pics of my '05 (22" rims) - Click HERE for Original Thread
Mister Mo Fo
I've had these rims sitting around for a while. I was given "a few months" to decide if I like the 22 inch rims, or return them. I decided not to wait until spring, and threw them on for a few days in the snow! I'm impressed with them! I expected them to look HUGE, but they weren't as shocking as everyone suggested.

Lip Size: It looks like the size of the lip is about 4 inches deep.

I like how some of the pics show snow collecting on the lip. You won't see that So. California :D

lovin the rims, i also have a pearl white 05 SE. i can't belive that a dealer in alberta actually put on the front liscence plate holder.
TheGymKid
Do you mind if I'm open and honest with my opinion? :D

Those rims look perfect on there. I'm not a bling bling person, I bought a gray Mo, and put gray accents on my Mo (nerf and push bars)... but I really like those rims alot!! If I had the $$, I would consider those exact ones. Nice job !

Now.... for that front plate... what is up with that?????????????????????????????????????????????? Open Road Honda !! Come on, get rid of that !! Your Mo is too good for a crappy advertisment mini billboard on the front of her.

At first I was wondering why you asked, then I saw where he lists his location. The front dealer ad clearly shows Open Road Honda in Edison, NJ (a two-plate state). I grew up 10 miles south of that dealer in North Brunswick.

It still begs the question: how did the car make it from Edison to Alberta?
Mister Mo Fo
You ask a good question! I bought my Murano on Ebay! I flew from Calgary to LaGuardia, hung out in New York (Manhattan) for the day, then hopped a train from Penn Station to Edison, NJ. Crashed in the sleezy "Beauty Rest" Motel. (My room appeared to have been on fire recently, soot behind furniture, but fresh paint around furniture, and there were blood stains on the floor and furniture) I then picked up my Mo, and drove it back to Alberta! Other than the sleezy motel, it was a fun road trip! Around 4000km total!

The ugly front plate has been removed. The mount is still there, however. If I pull it off, won't there be two holes in my front bumper?

Thanks for all the comments on the rims! I can't wait for the aweful snow to melt away so I can put them back on!

OMG now THAT'S a story :2: Ahh, good ole Edison. About 45 mins south of Sopranoland. Provided many years of scanner listening pleasure.

I actually requested the front mount to hold my faux LINUX plate, and I'm trying to remember if they had to expose some holes to hold the mount. They may have, come to think of it. Thanks for sharing the story, that was awesome!

ahhhh well then that explains why you don't have roof rails either. hah.

as for the front lisence plate mount, some people have just put some sort of little plugs into them. white ones would be pretty easy to find i suppose.

Wow. I like it. Who says that there is no conclusive evidence of "BigFoot" out there?

Question , I'm thinking of going with 22" , how is the rim is it rough , did you have to upgrade the suspention ?
tdmer
You can take those chrome covered liscense plate screws and put those in the bumper holes. You can see them but they look ok. That's what I did on the front of my Mo. Then after receiving a ticket for no front plate I still made mounts to put the l plate under the edge of the bumper...

Looks NASTY!!! I love it! I planned on puting 20's on mine, but how do the 22's ride?
Mister Mo Fo
The suspension on my Murano is completely stock. I had the 22's on for a few days....3 I think....and the ride was great! The only thing I can say about the 22's, is that you feel the road better. Some of you may not like this, but I think it's great! My daily driver during the summer months is my 320 hp Honda Civic (too many mods to list) and it has crazy sway bars and performance shocks, as well as low profile tires. So my Murano with 22's still feels extremely smooth!
Here are a few pictures of my other ride:
