Take a look in the gallery for photos of the HID beam cut-off. I have seen several photos there.
I believe the factory HID temp is 4100K. Several members have played around with after-market bulbs with mixed success. Do a search to see the other posts.

remember it was very close to the wall. Also the camera does not do really justice and the pic is somewhat distorted. In reality the pattern is much more uniform. |

No, halogen-equipped MOs use reflectors to focus the light output.
