Couple questions - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hi folks, just bought a 2007 SL AWD with a Touring package MSRP $36,630. I got it for $32,800 which was bout $600 under invoice :D
Somehow during negotiations/ shouting match, i overlooked the fact that i thought the price included the XM satellite package lol.
this was also due to the fact that it was partly done online and I have to admit i probably never actually got a proper description of what was in the particular Murano i got quoted on lol.

Anyway here's my questions.

is it possible to change my headlight beam to that Blue Xenon color or whatever they call it?
if so can someone link me to the right ones on ebay?

i seen some "clear bra's" at speciality stores for around $150-$300 but are those 'clear bras' on ebay for bout $30 any good?

where are the sensors for the 'auto' light?i would like to block them off.

how do i know if my Bose is prewired for satellite radio etc?
if so what is the recommended and easiest tuner to use or can be integrated into the Bose? by that I mean if the XM will show up on my lcd screen.
could the same be done with a GPS system?

I did do some searching on the forum btw but couldn't make the most of it.

Thanks
Gonzo
All your answers are in searches but here are some:

$30 clear bras are not good

Auto sensor is on the dash.... I believe the one on the far left.... you could always just cover it during the day and turn the headlights on auto. If the head lights go and then I was right.

Bose is prewired, you would need to purchase an XM reciever from Nissan and an antenna

Good luck.

Feliz75-

Let me get this straight. You have a 2007 SL with the Touring package, so that means you have the HID headlights, right? And now you are asking how to get the "Blue Xenon color"? Are you high? :1:

The "blue" lights are simply cheap halogen lamps with a blue coating that supposedly make them look like the expensive HIDs that you paid extra for on your MO.

If you really want the blue look I will gladly swap my halogen headlights for your HID headlights. I'll even throw in a set of blue Xenon bulbs. :4:

yeayh i have the HID lights..so u telling me that isnt the blue looking portion of the headlights?
i just think that yellow looking light spoils the look.

HID's aren't yellow. They may not be blue, but they surely aren't yellow.

Sorry, but are you color blind? HID and yellow? Do I read it right?

Who with a right mind would want blue anyway....(unless it is blues...:D ).

If you really want blue lights take Joe's advice. You both will be happy...:D

Feliz75-

When you refer to the "yellow looking light" are you referring to the light coming from the projector headlights or one of the other lights? If it is the latter then you can change bulbs in the smaller lights so they match the headlights. Many people have done that upgrade.

ok i guess i shoulda said whitish-blue light lol
anyway the top portion of the whole headlight asembly has a yellow looking beam..almost like an incandesent light bulb.
i was wondering if i could get that partion of the headlight to look the same as the bottom part.
so is the top part the high beam and the bottom the low beam?
if i didnt know or have a clue i wouldnt be asking other people
i thought xenon and HDI meant blue looking like them eruopean cars.

I'm guessing you are not talking about the HEADLIGHT cuz it looks rather bluish to me.. maybe you're referring to the signal/parking lights or fog lights. btw, turning that yellow parking light to blue might be illegal in your state.
