Sad to read about this,

Ah man, thats terrible. I don't care if a Murano was involved - this kind of road rage is an eye opener regardless of the vehicles involved. I hope the cops find the owner and put that person away for a long long time.

you can't alert other drivers of their mitakes these days without the fear of being killed or run off the road.

yeah, I had a car load of knit capped hispanic boys zip between me and another car on the freeway a couple weeks ago. They were exiting onto the same ramp as I. So, I ended up being right behind them anyway. I didn't tailgate them, I just ended up being where I was due to their car gymnastics at the beginning of the ramp.
When we got up to the top of the ramp, I was turning left (2 left turn lanes, 2 right turn lanes) and they pulled up beside me turning right. The drivers side passenger mouthed "F off" to my kids. The driver rolled his window down and flipped me off.

I said, uhhhhh, ok, what was that about?
My 16 year old wanted to swab the deck with them, which he probably could have altogether. But, of course, I told him he may not want to show up to a gun/knife fight with his fists.

I have crap like that happen almost every day, got a billion stories. I just chalk it up to a fact of driving. Even the most stupid humans can get a license.

Worse, many of them do not have licenses and they drive like in their home countries without any respect to traffic rules.....I see it on a daily basis here, north metropolitan Atlanta....

I have seen this many times from those:
2 lane road ends at T intersection with light.
Light is red.
They want to turn left, which lane do you think they get into?

Yep, the left lane, even with double yellow stripes.

Or this one:

At traffic light both sides have turn signal (green arrow).
Opposite side almost turns into you, or just flat does turn across your lane, because they are in the turn lane and when the green light for the straight ahead traffic turns green, they dash through the turn with their turn arrow nicely displayed in red.
I always go WTF!
Idjits.
Yes, I do watch for obvious nationalities of opposing drivers at lights, I don't want to have my insurance pay for their lack of insurance and their ignorance.

Hey Kris, have you noticed this? :
A large percentage of these said drivers have wildlife tags.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, methinks there is a rackett in there somewhere.

I attribute much of this to a lack of respect for others..... and stupidity.

An automobile is a dangerous mechanical device. Even the most meekest, mildest, most easy-going person can become a terror when they are behind the wheel of a 2-ton car. It gives them a sense of power.

On a few occasions I have caught up with someone who either cut me off and flipped me the bird, or once even threw a couple of "D"-batteries at my car because I was flashing my lights at them because they were driving 60MPH in the fast lane at night with no lights on!. (New York and New Jersey drivers can be real jack-@sses.) Each time when I caught up to them after they exited the car they reverted back to their meek, mild selves and apologized profusely with no further action on my part.

The roads are getting more dangerous because there are more drivers on the roads and less police available to patrol them. More drivers are uninsured because they cannot afford insurance. The number of hit-an-run accidents have increased because of the lack of insurance. Drivers are more distracted than ever thanks to cell phones, dash mounted DVD players, and stereos so loud you cannot hear a car horn next to you.

Next time you get on the road see how far you can drive without witnessing an idiot-move (running a red light, passing on the right, running a stop sign, someone cutting in front of someone, a driver on a cell phone, etc.). I am lucky if I can go a mile.

Respect for others? It usually goes out the window when certain drivers put the car in Drive.
