| Has anyone figured out how to make the MO sound like an FX or 350? Do they use the same exaust? I'm looking for a nice factory snarl with out having to floor the pedal. |

Anyway,
personally I like the Murano sound. It is great for driving around town. FX sounds absolutely awful! This car need to be driven, not chocked! So if you want something like FX think twice.
I would agree with Eric. His suggestions seem along what you are looking for... |

The best way to ensure your car sounds like an FX or a 350 is to buy an FX or a 350. No matter how hard you try, a MO is not going to sound like an FX or a 350. It ain't happening.

Tried one of the many many muffler shops in the Miami area? I bet they could help you out. IMO the changing of the intake will not give you what I think you are looking for and I also have the personal opinion that it does not protect the engine as well in the long run as it requires so much maintance to keep it really effective.
Linky did a great job similar to what you might try.. |

| Wow, that took me on a world of muffler posts but it was well worth the ride. Thanks MO's. After thinking some what, I might start by removing the resonator from the filter and going with linky's advice on the muffler. Eventually i'll get the pop JWT or CAI. I guess your right, the MO is a MO mot an FX. But if you can still make her sound sweet looking stock I'm all for it. Thanks again guys. I'll keep you posted. |

I dont want to take you thru a "religious" speech, but the fact is we are all here on this Earth no matter where your from. There is only 2 explanations: we were created or it created itself. | Well, I got that "snarl" going! After purchasing a flowmaster (80series) my friend gave me his 350z muffler so I can cut the tips and use them. When I got to the muffler shop, I told him what I wanted to do. He told me that they can custom fit the 350z muffler. So I did, and I am well pleased with the results! I'll try to get some pics and sound up. Now, I have a flowmaster 80series muffler I have to get rid of. The shop did a great job (I think) and I definetly recommend if anyone is down south. It's called Miami Mufflers. |

| I will get that to you shortly. I've just been really busy lately. I have to sit down and figure out how to do it. As soon as I do, i'm posting it. I went out to lunch with my friend today (I didnt tell him that I put an exhaust). He said "this car sounds just like an FX" Then I told him what it had.:4: |
