Anyone watched American Idol yesterday?
Do those people have any sense of sanity? Self criticism?
I felt sorry for the judges. Imagine being exposed to this entertainment for 3 days!
Anyway, I think Simon did better job then Dog and Paula.

The truth is this or it must be this. 1600 or so people show up, there is no way that they all get in-front of the 3 judges. They must have screeners that actually find some talent and the rest are picked to be laughed at. For me that is OK for a while but enough William Hungs already. I'd rather see some serious people and less goof balls.

YUP... My cousin tried out in NYC this past fall. She goes to Pace in NYC for singing... and is really good. Well, she went and said.... that she had to go in front on judges, but not Paula, Randy, simon. The prejudges decide if they want to give you a chance in front of randy, paula.... She never got past the prescreen. She said other people that sang really well, didn't make it in front of the judges as well.
I guess she wouldn't have made good TV. So it isn't just a talent contest for singers... they probably need certain looks to make it work. The funny looks for us at home to laugh at, the good looks for the final competition. |

| I don’t know about you people but I watch this show for its funny stuff and don’t forget that this show is a huge money maker because of that. If it was just a singing competition, they could not extend it to all these weeks and would become boring really fast. |

Seattle has many talented entertainers that have made it in show business. Most of the people shown on the show last night were not from Seattle. The show is entertainment and the producers chose what to show. |

As for me, about two to three minute is all I can take,
between the flats, sharps, key changes, no rhythm, ...
