I have a TomTom 700.
The FREE map offer is only supposed to be for the newer versions of the GPS like the 910, 510, ONE, etc.
For previous versions, the new map is on sale for $49.95 (reg $150).
HOWEVER, I'm getting mine for free!!!
After entering my serial #, it said I was eligible for the FREE upgrade. WOOHOO!! (only a $6 s/h charge)

The downside is that it takes 3 - 4 weeks for delivery.
