Hi Folks, so I've sold my 2004 Murano :( and was wondering if anyone has attempted to transfer the Extended Warrenty to a new owner, and what is actually involved? If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Zanter-
The policy can be transferred. You need to contact the insurer, provide them with the required information, maybe pay a small transfer fee (~$50), and that's it. Contact your insurer for specifics.
So, the MO is gone. What was your overall experience with it? What replaced it?

| Well I ended up getting a 2007 Infiniti FX 35; which I have to admit I miss the seats in the Murano already :) The FX is crazy fast though; which I know in some near distant future will come back to bit me in the arse. The vehicles are very similar, but I do notice the platform change (Murano = Altima, where FX = 350Z) and the transmission change is hard to miss. I opt'd out of the sports package since I didn't want the factory rims and the sports 'tuned' suspension is a bit useless; so for the addtional price you can aftermarket for much better wheels and springs and still come out cheaper. What really made me make the change was the fact I have more options now with mod'ng the car; since I'm not limited by the CVT. A couple cool things was the hands free bluetooth and the intelligent cruise control. I wouldn't want to traffic two kids around in it (alas 'her' car), but this was really just for me; so all is good. |
