Hi,

anybody knows if can I add a Bose Amplifier on my Mo.?

Where can I buy the Amp and Sub ?

Thanks

I've seen the sub on eBay (look for Nissan Murano sub) but no head unit. Since the center console is different on both Bose and not Bose vehicle, I think it would be hard to integrate it.

Thank you!!!
Sim,

So, do you think that is better forget the improvement ?
or, may be try with another Amp and Sub ?

I was reviewing the Electric Diagrams and Schematic (from Service Manual 2006) and ...
may be is possible, but I don't know a Amp with 4 inputs (like Bose Design).-

Thank again for your time.-
Diego.-

I see no one answered you.

You're better off getting an aftermarket amp and sub.

Change out the door speakers, add an amp to them, check out the JL Audio Stealth box as your sub.

You're wasting your money with the Nissan Bose stuff.

Thank you Nelson,

I will see JL Audio Products.-

I agree with NELSON. I like how the JL stealth box doesn't take up the rear cargo space.

thank you guys !!!

but I have another question,

How can I play MP3 files or Ipod or PDA Audio Files, where can I connect (may be Sat Input ?)

I'm searching for Additional audio input in my Mo Radio (Non Bose).-

I have a 2006 with the Non Bose system. You can connect an Ipod (with adapter) to the SAT input. It's location is described in several threads. I bought my adapter from JerseyParts who has several postings. I also have Sirius SAT radio. The only caveat with both is that to play the SAT radio you have to physically disconnect the Ipod adapter from the SAT Input -- if the Ipod adapter is connected, the input recognizes it and not the Satellite. Other than that, it works great. Please let us know how your amp upgrade works if you pursue it. I've considered upgrading the speakers and/or adding an amp.

There is a product from MTX that makes this type of upgrade VERY easy. It is called the Re-Q5 and I just purchased it for my upgrade. It accepts speaker level inputs directly from the back of your head unit. You just have to buy a breakout harness that plugs directly into the back of your head unit (or find a wiring diagram that tells you what wires are your speaker outputs). It is similiar to the PAC breakout unit except that it compensates for the lowered bass output at high levels and gives you a clean signal at any volume output.

You can install an aftermarket amp in the location where the Bose amp normally would be located. I have done some research and found several aftermarket amps that work very well if you want to send me a PM and ask me about it. I even purchased 2 very high quality 25' RCA cables that I'm not going to use now because I found out that I could install the Re-Q5 in the rear next to the Bose amp so I don't need those cables. If you're interested in the RCA cables let me know and I will sell them to you.

The Re-Q5 has an auxiliary input directly on the unit that will let you plug in anything that you want.
