I had high hopes until I saw the picture of its exterior.....
Definitely not for me. I am too used to the beautiful body of my MO...:D |

| Sort of reminds me of the new Rav4, only stretched out and without the spare tire hanging off the back. Not bad though. |

still not for me, either. the exterior is too boxy, I don't care for the 3rd row and the bucket seats in the second row.
the safest place for a small child is in the middle of the row -- not even possible to put a seat there.
I'm not too wild that LATCH hook on the MO's middle seat is way in the back, but at least i can put a seat there. |

Just another "PRETENDER.......3rd row seat".
I know most of you guys don't like BIG SUVs, but sometimes you need them. ie: with 3 boys & a dog they all need some room to spread out, so that they don't end up killing each other. The Gator with 2nd row buckets & a split bench 3rd row, gives everyone there own corner! They even have room for the size 12's shoes!
I just don't get the Highlander, MDX, Pilot, etc... saying they have 3rd rows but only truely fitting 3rd graders? |

Didn't do a thing for me on the outside. Take my word folks, I went last week to that marketing deal down town. You know, no cameras or phones allowed. They has us preview what they called the Chrysler B model. This was a paid 2.5 hour review and critique.
This was not the SUV that is listed on some of the secret car photo sites. Believe me, I looked. The ones on those sites preview a boxy SUV crossover that looks like a cross between a Dodge Nitro and I dunno, something or other. Half of it was covered in shrouds.
The new one that I previewed was in direct competition with the MO as that was one of 13 or so 2007 cars that we had to compare it too. They just called it the Chrysler B at the show. It kicked major A$$. This was a marriage between a Crossfire and an SUV. Unbelievable lines. Yes, this was prettier than the MO in my opinion. It will have a V-6 with about 250 horse. The interior was still a secret as we were not allowed to cross a carpet that the car sat on in the middle of the floor. I wish I knew when this was to debut. I have shyed away from cars made by the big 3 but this one with some definite German engineering apparent has really caught my eye. Indicated price was about 6-7K cheaper than the MO. Looking forward to the debut.....whenever that will be???

I like the clever second row middle position - it stows away underneath the center console when not in use! Smart!
270hp? Looks like the MO has some catching up to do. |

Nasty looking beast! Reminds me of the Pilot we almost bought before seeing and instantly buying our MO in Dec. of 02.
Toyota sure knows how to make ugly cars. Some bean counter figured out how to make their models as innocuous as possible and overly succeeded. Just look at Camry! Meanwhile Europeans get sexy shaped cars that have style. Too bad though, they can't get their electronics together. Darrell |

| Nothing to compare to.... the MO wins hands down. Its very Honda Pilotish. |
