| I developed this metallic creaking noise coming from the left front suspension every time I accelerated and decelerated. I mentioned this as a concern at my dealership when I went in for my 5000 mile synthetic oil change. After about 2 hours I received a call stating that the vehicles service was completed and the noise was fixed-gone. I asked what they had done to remedy this and it was stated to me that the front axles were removed and greased and that solved the noise. This is apparently something Nissan is aware of and doesn't happen that often. I'm satisfied with there work but not the Nissan answer. Can anyone else elaborate on this matter? Thank You. |

| Very rarely have I heard front axle noise without the CV boot being also cracked (and hence the grease has leaked out). On a relatively new car like the MO, its premature for the CV boots to crack, unless you've hit something on the road. But if they were cracked, its possible that's what caused the noise - the boots hold the grease in. |

Same problem here...didn't really notice till I started driving with window down.
Creaking and clicking upon slow accel/decel....this was fixed? |

I had a creek/click on accel and decel in my front end when Mo was fairly young. I could reproduce it by rocking the car briskly in park.
They tightened the motor mounts and steering rack.
Not a sound since. |
