I am a new member to this forum . Hi everyone !
My first time own the SUV , the 06 Murano SE / AWD . The service manual said replace the engine oil every 3750 ml but I notice that the oil color getting dark sooner then the regular car (sedan) . Is this normal to the SUV engine or there is some issue with it ? Thanks |

| SUV or not.... its normal. The oil is just doing its job of suspending particles. |

The color of the oil is not an indication of its remaining useful life.
Do not worry, it is normal. And the SUV (by the way - I do not consider Murano SUV nor Truck , but this is a different story) or not it has nothing to do with it.
I am changing oil every 5,ooo miles and this is an overkill as I am using Mobil 1, which could easily last 10,000 miles... |

| Oil life is at least as much a function of the filter as it is of the oil. The higher filtration capability will extend the life of a premium oil. The amsoil EaO filters are the best there are. Guaranteed 25-35000 miles depending on the Amsoil oil used. |
