I just got back from the Nissan dealer with my 2004 Mo, SL AWD. They tell me that the motor in my passenger mirror is not covered in my extended warranty. I have the bumper-to-bumper package through Nissan.
What the heck? I spent around $1,700 for it and they don't cover this? Anybody know anything about this coverage? Had a similar issue?

I would think a "bumper-to-bumper" warranty is all-inclusive.
Which coverage plan do you have?
Pull out your policy and check the particulars. Or have the dealer show you where he claims it excludes mirror motors.
There should also be a phone number listed on the policy. Call and ask them if the motor is covered.

The following excerpt was taken from the Nissan Gold Preferred Warranty agreement issued to MO owners in Texas. It lists the exclusions to the coverage. As you can see the exterior mirrors are not mentioned in the "WHAT IS NOT COVERED" section, so therefore they should be covered.
