We just bought Murano s AWD 2007 and already confused what gas to use - regular 87 or higher?
Even in manual very confusing ; use 91, but if you do not have it, use 87. On the official web side NissanMuranoUsa recomended 87. Some othe web side give a different. As I understand, if people lease this car - they do not care. We bought it. But premium gas pretty costly nowdays, specially in NY area. Want to know advaces from Murano lovers. Thanks a lot ( it is a great web side!) |

Congrats on the purchase of your MO.
Don't fret over what grade of gas to use. Regular is just fine. The MO's VQ engine is designed to run on either grade. Premium-grade has shown to slightly increase performance and fuel efficiency. Some people claim the increase in fuel efficiency offsets the incremental cost of Premium.

Agree with joe - use any grade you want, although when I use 87 I find throttle response sluggish. Might be all in my head.
