I figure I should itroduce myself since Ive been lurking here for about 2 weeks. I appreciate all the info I found using the search function.
My wife and I were out car "looking" and saw a murano on the dealers used lot. Its a silver 2004 AWD SL w/48k miles. We figured it was more than we wanted to spend and it was late so we drove off. When we got home I was curious about the price and looked it up in the paper. Ad said 17999. I then looked it up on NADA and they said it was worth around 23K.I then checked the dealers web site and it was listed for 225. I called the dealer and they said the 17999 was what they wanted for it. I was the first customer on the lot the next day. I ask the salesman again if the paper was right and he said it seemed low but he confirmed it with someone so I took off for a test drive. The wife fell in love with it in 2 blocks. Turns out the price was supposed to be 225 but the dealer honored the 17999 since we checked twice. No one lost thier job over it but I bet someone was upset!
Im kinda nervous about the CVT from what I read here. The fluid is clean and the car drives great. Is there anything in general I should do since this car is new to me? Sorry for the long post. |

Yes, check the oil, fill up the tank, and take a nice leisurely drive to the (choose one) [beach, mountains, lake, valley, city, country] and enjoy the ride.
