MurAndo-
You are kidding, right? Aren't you planning on putting "limo-tint" on the rear glass in six months? If that is the case, then just remove the rear wiper. Or you can remove the tension spring and permanently affix the wiper to the post in a position where it is only a few centimeters off the glass. That way it will look functional but will not vibrate.

I have no rattles with my 2005 SE. Maybe I am just lucky or don't hear too well. |

MA-
You live in LA, right? It never snows there so the wiper is not really needed. Just treat the rear glass with Rain-X and most of the water will simply drop off. With limo-tint, vision through the rear-glass will be severely restricted anyway.
The post for the wiper runs through the glass. You can remove the wiper motor and plug the hole with a black rubber plug. You need to remove the inner panel on the rear door to access the wiper motor.

With those 2 L5's (are they 12s or 15s?) your lucky the tailgate stays shut. Those are some pretty powerful subs to have in such a small enclosed space.
2 Questions though:
Are subs dual 2-ohm or dual 4-ohm?
What amp are you using?
I have a Kicker SX9002 amp for sale if your interested? |

Enclosure looks to small and the subs are to close to the tailgate. Do you know what the cube ft is for the box and the recomended size for the subs? I believe the subs need to be in a box around 3^ft. You current box looks to be around 2.5 or less.
The subs need more power than that Clif also, the Kicker NJ's selling is a perfect fit for it or the newer amps.
Also try getting some sound deadiner throughout the tailgate. I put some second skin deadiner that was sprayed/painted through the tailgate/sparetire well. You can't see it with the panels back on. Its better and easier than dynamat. Not as much rattling now, only the licence plate. |

| my box is actually the recommended and its deeper you just cant see it and i pulled it forward for the picture the clif design is bridged and i have a capasitor so it hits exactly at the power recomended 600 rms to each sub |

| Might say its rated at that but so do Xplode amps, which are not even close. If it sounds good to you then so be it, I just feel the Kicker amp or another higher end amp would be better. |

You mean the Xplode amp that costs $149 doesnt really put out the 2000 watts that is printed on it and all over the box? ;) :2: |

If they did then my amps would run under $100, and I would have about 4 of them in therejust for the subs. :D
MurAndo- Is it a prefabed box? There fairly poor built boxes if so, have someone build you a custom sealed or ported for even louder. If you want email me and I'll get you a design, just lmk the manufactors recommended specs and if you wanted ported or not and you can do it yourself. Will sound much better.:4: |
