Hi All. New to this forum. I have a 2006 Murano that I really enjoy. Problem is, we've had a bad winter this year and the grit has chipped the paint from the rear of both rear doors where they flair out. I did put splash guards on but they didn't help withthe problem. Anyone have solutions for this problem? I see there is a clear tape type of protection in this area but it didn't do enough. Thanks for any help!

Nissan paint is very soft. You'll need to crayon it using the Nissan touch-up pen or paintscratch.com excellent products. I use them in conjunction with the Langka system (langka.com) and it brings back the finish to very close to perfect.

I have a 2007 and i noticed that mine came with a clear, thin guard that is placed there...kinda like a clear bra..in order to prevent stone chips..talk to your dealer about installing this on your MO or visit www.lamin-x.com ...they sell clear plastic protectants

Thanks for the reply's! Mine also has the clear tape but they taped it in two pieces. One small strip at the fender well area, then they left a gap betwwen the front clear tape. So, the paint chipped underneath it and between the two strips! Thanks for the links, I'll check them out.
