Hi friends, I had a hard time finding the right information on this so I figured that nothing beats hearing the info straight from horses mouth. I got my self the 660 and its great. But instead of the cord hanging on the dash I want to conect the power to the back of the LCD. Now, I have never take of that panel over the LCD:
1. is that hard to get off?
2. do I need to cut the exicting power cable that goes to the LCD?
3. what about the fuse that is built in to the lighter plug
that came with the NUVi?
Im a beginer when it comes to all this, so please dont be to hard on me. Any help or better ways of doing this will be appriciated as well. thanks

Which LCD are you referring to... on the 660 or the NAV screen on the MO? IMHO I would just run a wire from the fust box to where ever you want it. Tap in to the correct fuse using the power cord (which you might have to cut) that came with the 660.
Do you have a picture of how you mounted the 660? |
