Hello,
I have a 2003 Murano. Great vehicle, just wondered if anyone has had any problems with the Automatic Temperature Control. Everything used to work great where I would just set it for 22 degrees C and it would control fan and temperature keeping the cabin very comfortable. Last week I realized that it isn't working correctly. If I set it at 22 and click the automatic button it waits till the vehicle warms up before turning the fan up but then it never turnes it down. It gets very warm in the cabin and it never cuts the fan back. It is like it is sensing when it is too cold and turns the fan on but never senses when it is too hot and to cut the fan back. Anyone seen this before? |

| I had this same issue when they installed my remote start several years back. Can't really tell you exactly what to look for but I do remember it was caused by a wire in the fuse panel which was not connected. Have you or someone else been playing around in there? |

dysatguy-
Do you have the service manual for your MO? If so, it explains how to activate the "self-diagnosis" function which checks the operation of the HVAC unit.

| Thanks for the input guys, yes my Murano has command start although it was installed by the dealer when I purchased it and has been working great up until these past few weeks. Nothing has been changed in the fuse box since I have owned it but I will take a quick peak in there to see if anything is loose or etc. I will check for a service manual for it. If I don't find one I may be inquiring you guys for some expertise in putting it into this diagnosis mode. Thanks in advance guys! |

| I should clarify... my last post I said everything is working great until last week. It is only the Automatic temperature control that isn't working properly.. the command start and keyless entry is still working as it should. |

The service manual, not to be confused with the owner's manual, does not come with the car. It is ordered separately via the internet.
