Here is situation.
I drive 05 MO with nav.
I already have my multimedia player to play movie clips and mp3 musics ready.
all i need is to install this thing in my MO
I went one of the shop in Toronto,
and they quote me $1100!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:
I know i have been reading the forum,
i need some module to play video and audio but
1100???
they said this module only costs $850
and it is called Pac part#VCI-NIS/AV
is this true? do i really need that module?
any other options?

cheapest one was 455 USD for Pac VCI-NIS/AV
i did Search and murano06 did with NavTool
but can't find the unit anywhere...

that's 06murano (not murano06).
anyways, do a search for murano video converter on ebay. came up with this one:

but note, this is only for the video portion. i guess navtool is not selling his versions anymore... now you need a pac-nis2 for the audio portion.
fyi, i got it all done for under $350. and that's including shipping, tax...but did the labor myself. |

i was also looking at that product.
but i guess they are not willing to ship to canada.
it's only available in US.
how's the output by the way?
does it come with every wires needed?
i hope i can do the installation by myself,
but i donno how... |

not a problem coolmomo,
i'm not sure if they will ship to canada or not, it's best to e-mail the seller and ask. as far as questions for the product, i can only answer about the navtool (similar item).
the video output is clear, no interference. and the installation was easy, all plug and play. the hardest part is that you have to find power for the unit (i taped into the fuse for that). |
