Getting ready to buy a Murano (very excited), but dreading the whole dealership experience (yuk).
Going through both Edmunds.com and Nissan USA websites, I have requested internet quotes from several dealerships around Boston. So far I have either gotten no response, calls telling me to come in and talk, or emails that don't tell me anything.
I'm a woman and am using my full name when filling out the internet quote forms. I wonder if this has anything to do with it.
This whole process is not starting off to well!!!
Does anyone have either positive or negative experiences with Boston dealerships that they can share? |

I don't know if that is to far out of your way, but I had great experience with them. Both my wife and I loved our sales rep. (name currently escapes me) but we got a really good deal on our MO. It is a 2007 SL with all the bells and whistles except navigation and we got it for 31K with my 2001 intrepid as a trade in. I think we got a very good deal and so far we are happy with them. We bought the car at the end of Febrary so we have not been in since purchasing it.
Good luck. |

Back in November 2004, I purchased my 2005 Mo from Glick Nissan in Westborough. They were easy to work with. I had actually negotiated a deal with another dealer that was giving me the run-around on when the vehicle would be in (had to order it to get exactly what I wanted.) I decided to search inventory on the web, and found exactly what I was looking for at Glick.
Called them up, and did the deal over the phone. They matched the price from the other dealer.
I would suggest that you go to each of the local dealer websites and find their specific email address, and send directly to the Internet sales manager. I found that to work really well on a recent purchase from a Honda dealer. I emailed 5 dealers to give me their best price on exactly what I was looking for. They all came back with an answer. The dealer closest to me said they would beat any price. I took the lowest price to that dealer, and they beat it by $200.
Good Luck! |

I didn't work with the sales people at Clay in Newton but the service writters aren't very helpful or knowledgeable. |
