When I was pulling out of the service adviser bay at the dealer, I saw a white car, looked lowered, 3 gauges on the dash, hood up. Thought not much of it, but took a look at the back to try to identify it. I did a double take when I saw the Skyline bumper! About the same time, they revved it up and it sounded so sweeet! The blow off valve was so loud my GF heard it from the other side of the building.
First Skyline I've seen in person that I'm sure was actually a Skyline. I don't know them well enough to be able to tell the difference between R32, R33 or R34 though. Although I seem to recall that only the R32's are legal in Canada at this point (they have to be more than 15 years old before we can import them legally). |

| i think they are starting to bring over r33 also. there are a ton of r32 zipping around edmonton since the snow melted... some of them are in horrible shape but there are a few gorgeous and loud ones. |

Whats really funny is seeing a young military guy rollin down the street in his 91 R32 Skyline GTE that he rebadged to say GTR. Zipping through traffic and actually thinking he is in a fast car. Gt wing, neon, lowered, horrible loud muffler (made for the turbo RB20 so it twice as loud as it should be), monster tach, etc....
FYI a GTS is the bottom of the barrel as far as R32s go. They have a DOHC 2.0 straight 6 running in at 120hp tops... Now that I think Nissan might have made a Gi or something like that and it has a 1.8 4 banger NA in it.. but anyways thats life in Japan. |

| Yeah, some of them were just average sedans, it's the GTR with the RB26DETT and 4 wheel steering that is a real beast. VERY easy to mod that engine to substantially higher power. |
