I am with you on this one. I have yet to find any wheel that beats the beauty and looks of the 5 spoke OEM on a black MO. |

Given NY streets "quality" I do not believe you can do anything with these tires and rims to improve ride quality. Low profile tires are for performance not for comfort...sorry to say it... |

Right. I understand well I'm expirianceing. But do I need to anything? Like an alligment? And also where should I look for tier pressure on tiers or on the mo?
Thanks for your help guys |

kris 265 50 is still a tire with a substantial size sidewall. the murano's side wall is 152.75 mm while Mendy's side wall is 132.5 mm a difference of 20.25 mm or just over 2 cm or 3/4 of an inch which, in my opinion, really isn't enough to ruin your ride quality significantly.
Mendy- what type(brand and make) tires are you using and what is your current air pressure in them? |

44 psi. They are FALKEN. Ziex S/TZ 04 makes sence? |

M-
If the ride is too harsh at 44psi, then try it at 40psi. Then drop it to 38 and see what feels best.

| njjoe you hit the nail on the head. 44 psi is quite a high pressure to be riding on a 20 inch wheel. i wouldn't go any lower than 36 psi though just because of fear of hitting a pothole and wrecking the wheels. |

Put origionals back on. |

| An alignment isn't going to change the quality of the ride. If your steering becomes out of wack, then I would suggest getting one. |

| so mendy, did lowering the air pressure resolve the issue?? |

No its still on 44. My problem is it dosnt stick to the road |
|
|
| nissanlove |
it dosn't stick to the road?? could you provide a more elaborate explanation of the symptoms. we are under the impression that your ride is too harsh and uncomfortable.
try lowering your psi anyways, 44psi is still way to much anyways. |

Too busy? It takes all of one minute per tire to adjust the pressure.

| i'm gonna check at the costco tire shop what the recomended pressure is when you upsize from stock to your tire size. apparently, my summer tires(265/60/18) are supposed to be at 26 psi as compared to 33 psi for the goodyears. i'll get an explenation as to why it's supposed to be so low later. |

Sorry I meant 1000 miles. I don't kniow if the rims got the TPMS in them it comes up an error message. I have take it off from the orig rims I don't have a pressure thing to check it so I keep pushing it off ill lower it to 35 later and see how it drives |

The rear of the car when its not on a smooth even road the rear of the car dosnt have good ttraction with my old tiers the traction went on so I changed them all to brand new now its a bit better but still not firm since I live in the city I hit pot holes and worst roads on the planet these rims are wider I should get a good grip |
|
|
| Nathan @ NBO |
| The tighter the tires are (more air) the less traction. Think about it, if they are super hard then there will be less tire on the road. That is why when people go to the track they release air pressure, let the tires down a little which gives them some grip. Just FYI. |

| alright. checked with the guys at the costco tire shop and saw with my own eyes on the comp. the size that your riding should be set at either 32-33 psi. nothing higher or lower. so go get yourself a digital tire pressuer gauge and check cracking. overinflation is a major cause in tire blowouts and with the amount of driving your do, i'd put safety first and invest in a potentially life saving device. |
