Does anyone have a suggestion on a vendor to purchase cabin and engine air filters. I have found that the cheapest is not always the best.... I like recommendations...
== I believe these are the correct part numbers ==
NISSAN OEM IN-CABIN MICROFILTER 999M1-VP051
NISSAN OEM Air Filter 16546-0Z000
I can find plenty of vendors on the net, but I am looking for a vendor that
you have had experience with, good or bad. |

I haven't bought one for my Murano, since I just got it yesterday, but I've bought them for a while from Napa for my Maxima and Vibe.
Not that you can really tell if they're doing a "good job" or not, but I've had no complaints. |

It is all a matter of personal preference. Some people swear by FRAM, while others think it is junk. That holds true for just about every air filter manufacturer, including OEMs.
Here's a link to a test run by "Bob, the Oil Guy": Air Filtration Test
Bob is a Mechanical Engineer who did some testing on oil filters that I found useful, so I think his air filtration tests may also be helpful. Check it out.

| You can try www.rockauto.com. They've got engine and cabin air filters by Wix. |

I recently discussed the FRAM cabin filter that contains activated charcoal and baking soda with Autozone. This filter is supposed to be available by ordering through your local Autozone store. The part # is CF10140. Take that number with you when you place the order.
I intend to try this filter as a family member is a smoker. I don't know how much it will help. We'll see. |
