I'm new to the forum and just recently bought an 07 S for my wife. It appears to have been a rental and had roughly 7k miles on her, it's immaculate in/out. As you would imagine it's practically bare from what I can tell. It does have the CVT and is AWD which I'm happy about. It's cloth interior is comfortable but boring, looking into leather seat covers from a local guy with accurate patterns. The stereo is basic and surprisingly minus an Ipod aux jack. Come on Nissan! Anyway, I'll probably just go with a FM converter for a while. I'd never convince my wife to pull the stereo out of her new car. It has no fog lights just plastic plugs..wtf. The wheels are kind of dull looking but they'll do for now. I don't have the remote start and would like to know if that's worth buying. The car itself is beautiful and we love it, I've liked them since thier inception. I notice there aren't many mods for the car yet and I've read about the risk with CAI. Maybe just the K&N drop in huh? What else is ou there or are people doing?

Thanks

Congrats on your new MO and welcome to the forum.

Do a search. There are several "S" owners who have modded their MOs to bring them up tp the "SL"'s trim level (fogs, Homelink compass mirror, tweeters, trim, etc.). They are all well documented.

We cannot buy our Canadian models this "bare". Our models (only 2 with 1 or 2 options only each) all come with the Bose sound system, the fog lights, and a lot of other optional equipments in the US. I know that you guys can play with a lot of options in the US and this reflects on the price you pay.

Good luck replacing the radio, it's integrated into the entire dash (heating controls, etc), so a simple swap for an aftermarket radio is not possible (at least I think that's how it is, they may have changed that).

Although not available new, I saw lots of 'S' for sale (including at Nissan dealers!) a few months old when looking. Cheaper obviously
