| my wife just had a baby shower last weekend and i loaded up the MO with the gifts. Two baby strollers was about the heaviest thing i had in the MO, but it was filled up with the rear seats folded. my MO squealed all the way home like a little pig. what is the weight limit on these things? can the MO handle two people in the rear seats over 200 lbs or what. it's not like i had a anvil in the back. i got home unloaded the MO and drove around the block and the noise was gone. i am so *#@!~ disappointed in MO, so its back to the dealer once again. |

wiseguy-
The MO has a weight capacity of 860 pounds.
I know I have exceeded that in the past (4 big guys, grill, beer/food coolers, table and chairs) for a Giants game and had no problems at all. We had probably 1,000 pounds in passengers and cargo. Not once did the car bottom-out or make any odd noises (although I can't say the same for one of our rest-seat passengers who shall remain nameless).

| i know i was not even close to 860 lbs. for the life of me it just seem very odd to load up the MO with gifts have this noise, unload the gifts and noise go away. do you think an uneven load could cause this noise? to much weight on one side maybe? |

Sure, but not with what you had onboard.
It just seems very odd that two people plus your typical assortment of baby shower gifts could in any way load the the vehicle in such a manner that it would be improperly loaded. Did any of your friends give you a treasure chest full of gold bullion?

| Haaa that's a good one. a chest of gold would come in handy with twins. by the way wife just had the twins on monday the 21 st, 4lbs 15oz and 4 lbs 11oz, both doing well, oh and mom to. |

Don't worry about your MO making noises... the twins will drown it out in no time. :4:

| You are running two parallel threads here. Sure sounds like one problem, whatever it is! |

I have SERIOUSLY loaded down the back of my MO on several occasions. The worst was when I was getting bags of cement. If I remember correctly, I had right around 1000 lbs back there, give or take a few. The back was certainly riding low, and the handling changed a bit, but certainly nothing like what you're describing.
Something was definitely out of whack on yours. Might have been just a coincidence of something getting caught in your rotors or something, but I would load it up with a good bit of weight just to test it out and see if it happens again. If so, take it into the dealer and make them figure out what is wrong. |

I loaded my Murano once or twice quite heavily and had no problems what so ever. Granted the steering was different but there was no problems with acceleration! In fact I was nicely surprised how well Murano did....
Take your car to the dealer and ask to check it out.....though I can hear the answer already "could not duplicate"...:( |

I drove cross country with the MO fully loaded, rear end sagging theatrically, and did not have any problems at all. Sure the acceleration at altitude was shall we say, leisurely, even on Ds, but it never made any strange noises and the temp guage was fixed at the normal mark through the 110F+ weather.
Big congrats on the twins. At this point I'd forget about the Mo and turn my attention to the little ones. |

Are you sure it was the MO making the noise?
I know that most baby items make a squeak or squeal or rattle of some kind.. |

| just lugged home 375 kg of cement and the MO was a champ. i liked the look of it lowered to the level it was at but i'm glad i didn't actually have lowering springs at the time haha. |

this is what replaced the pickup...

when you need to redo your fence, you need to use the best tools you have at your disposal. |
