| We recently bought an 05 S with only 20K miles and absolutely LOVE it so far. We fell so far in love w/it that we didn't notice until last weekend that the backseat headrest on the driver side was missing. I called the dealer we bought it from (non-nissan) and all they told me was that it was traded in w/o one. I've tried every non-dealer solution but to no avail. They are $155 new so I'm trying to avoid shelling out that much unless I have to. Any ideas?? |

Perhaps a junkyard or even one that is custom made? It might not match perfectly but hey, it gives the car character. I'm willing to bet those headrest posts are the same on every car and one from another car would even fit. |

jim-
The rear seats have three headrests. Take the center-seat headrest and move it outboard to the left-side seat. You'll still be missing one headrest but it will be less obvious.;)

Joe, the center headrest is much smaller than the other ones so it would look as weird. The trim is always expensive because the company is usually the only maker.
GO for a smashed MO. There are quite a few, even here some unfortunate owners totalled theirs so it shouldn't be hard to find. |

| Check the storage bins beside the trunk - you never know whats hiding in it. |

Jim,
If you don't find one, email me at robert_t_king AT hotmail DOT com or PM me. I bought a pair of headrests for my MO planning to install LCD screens, but decided not to go that route. The headrests, if I remember correctly, are interchangeable between the front and rear outboard seats. (The rear center headrests is smaller.) Mine are Cafe Latte (tan) in color.

I said it would be less obvious, not perfect. ;)

| Take a nice big shopping bag into the showroom and borrow one from a Mo that has the same interior color that yours has (just kidding!). |

Don't laugh. I was tempted to abscond with a shifter knob from a floor model when the stealership gave me a hard time about replacing a defective one on my 2004 a few years back. They finally caved in and did the replacement. |

Jim-
WorldPartsExpress sells them for $111.61.
I would first go online and search a salvage yard. If that fails I would contact WPE.
Good luck.
