Hello everyone,
Just joined after reading a few posts and come upon a post where someone mentioned and mute interface for the Bose stereo, it deactivates the radio sound when the GPS is speaking and outputs the instructions throught the car speakers, kind of how the stock system works. Ofcourse this is for installing a aftermarket nav system in a non nav car.
Thanks. |

Most of the talking aftermarket GPS interfaces come with instructions for you brand and model if you buy by selecting them.
They will show you where to connect etc. Ask the site of the brand if they have instruction for you car. |

Yep, my Garmin Nuvi 660 will broadcast directions through the Mo's(and other vehicles) FM receiver using 88.7 as that frequency's usually unused by broadcasting stations.

| I think he wanted to listening to music etc and have the GPS interrupt that audio and play the GPS notification. I believe your system requires you to be tuned to that frequency and waiting for it to say someing. |
