| I took my Mo to the Stealership for an oil change today. Only reason I take it their is because they do a buy one get one free oil change for me. Anyways, after they were finished with the oil change I checked the fluid level. After hearing the horror story of the stealership that forgot to add oil back after they had drained it. As I opened my hood, I saw my Nissan emblem missing from my engine cover. So I immediately asked the new guy who did my oil if he had seen where my emblem went, and he said "why would I take your emblem''? He could'nt look me straight into my eyes either as he was stuttering. To make a long story short, the service manager overheard us talking so he ordered me a new one. I think that is the least they could do because I've been going their for eight years for everything. I am almost certain my emblem was their before I took my Mo in for the oil change. My question is, has anyone had their emblem come off on their own? |

I haven't, It woud take some good prying to get that thing off, don't believe it would just come off under normal conditions. The oil tech sounds guilty from the "get go" for answering the question in that manner. |

| No, and when I had a look at it before, it would take a bit of effort to remove. |

Now that the emblem is gone, there are two little wholes on the black cover which look like the emblem wood clip into. |

| I guess with the new one you'll have to glue it down as well, to discourage any other stolen emblems. Glad to hear the service manager took care of it for you. |
