Well since my Murano is now totaled I'm ready to buy my next one. Everyones last advice has sort of steered me towards FWD this time and now I'm wondering about colors. My last one was a beautiful black, but impossible to keep clean. Do you think the Platnium will be hard to keep clean? I also am considering silver or white. What is everyones thoughts, likes and dislikes about their Murano colors ?
Thanks in advance ! |

Silver stays cleanest the longest. (More clean in apprearance)
When you wash'em and see the soap bucket water turning dark, you know it is dirty. White WAS my color I had thought to appear to be cleaner longer, till I owned a few. |

| Our 03 was pearl- white. Easy to take care of, stayed cool, visible to other traffic, looked nice when waxed and washed. Darrell. PS. I like the maroon ones when waxed, also gold.:) |

| They have a true Platinum that I got that on my second MO and I loved it. Shows of the sutle curves of the design. I also love changing the grill to the laser cut design. WOW a new MO I envy you. Plan out your Mods carefully anr it can be a dream car. Be sure you get the Nav System and any Aux in they now have to go along with the FWD. ENJOY and Happy Fathers Day! |

My choice is the Chardonnay because of the color of the dust and dirt in our area. Although it is not as shiny when it is dirty, at least it will be the same color in between washes. |

Our first MO, a 2007 SL is Glacier Pearl and it's a great color.

I have Gold and like it - easy to maintain and has incredible shine!
FX is white and is also easy to maintain. So would be silver and platinum.
Darker colors may look great but are difficult to maintain. |

| Thanks for the all answers. Looks like most favor the lighter colors. I'm still sorta undecided but will not go with a dark color. I sure wish they still had pewter! |

| the pearl white takes a beating if you live in an area that has harsh winters. rail dust and road tar is extremely visable on the paint. have you looked at the new red?? i dunno why, but i have a thing for red lately. with the black interior, it would look sweet. |

The color choice is 100% personal taste. Even though most owners of black MOs are fully aware how difficult they are to keep clean, they would not be seen in anything else. That's their choice. It's a great color when it is clean, new, and swirl-free. The same goes for dark blue.
Before I bought my MO I rented a white one from Enterprise for a little over a month. So now when I see a white MO I think "rental", so I crossed that off my list. I fell in love with Platinum when I first saw it. It looks clean even when it is not, but it will never look as shiny as the black or blue MOs.
Why are you asking us about the color choice? Who are you trying to kid? We all know the decision is not yours. :4: What color does your wife/girlfriend want? :2:

Yes I just saw the red today and I was suprised how good it looks.
Now I'm now considering Platinum, Chardonnay or red. |
