Charlie,
Your new Magnet Bra looks great! I'm considering buying one for my MO. They make a white one too. My MO is Glacier Pearl. Could you tell me more about how it works when you wash the MO. Do you have to remove---reattach it each time? How hard is that for one person, or do you need two people to handle it? Thanks for any info.
By the way your MO looks beautiful, I can tell you take good care of it! :)

Thanks for the compliments.
I dont have the instructions in front of me, but I believe the car can be washed with the bra on. The (magnetic) seal is pretty tight. I just installed the bra yesterday, so I have not gone through a wash yet. I believe the instructions said remove every 6 months or so when washing to make sure nothing got trapped underneath. But installing it is very easy, I did it by myself, you just have to line it up with the hood and push out any air bubbles. A hair dyrer comes in handy to heat up the material to make it more flexible. There is also a trim piece that goes around the front edge of the hood which helps hold it in place. The magnet is strong but easy to pull off if you start at one of the corners.

I cant give you a long-term opinion, but the manufacturer claims it will seal out water as not to oxide your paint like traditional leather/vinyl bras.

I have been using the magnetbra for a couple of years now. I have not noticed any damage to the paint at all. I usually take it off every few months and wash and wax the paint underneath. As long as you wipe the underside of the bra really well and are careful not to slide it over the paint when re-installing, you will be fine.
