Goodyear stock tires price - Click HERE for Original Thread

What is the price you are paying for replacement of the stock tires (include installation but minus tax)? I am living in the Bay Area (Northern California) and wonder who is a good shop. America Tires quoted $536 + $52 installation before tax. Costco only has Michelin, which I don't want.

I am in the same boat as you are.

Walmart has them for $136 a piece plus $9 each installation (includes free rotation and road hazard) but I have seen some members have bought them for as little as $101 each (but not installed). There are some links in this thread:

At my local GDY dealer, they had a sale last fall and I was able to get re-shoed at that time.

Had an unrepairable flat a couple days and was forced to buy another Yoko from Tirerack for replacement, and I noted also that they have the Eagle LS's in stock now too. You might want to have them dropship to your local installer to save a few dollars.

Never heard of Kumho but it has good reviews and it is cheap at Tirerack...$78 each:

I can vouch for the Kumho brand - had the "famous" Ecsta tires on my Maxima for many years (I went through two sets) and they were fantastic. Good price, great performance. Kumho is the major tire manufacturer of South Korea I believe (another up and coming brand is Hankook).

Goodyear Eagle LS Rebate (exp 7/21/07)

Other Goodyear models eligible too.

I paid $199.75 each off of ebay, which included delivery. The tires were off of a 2007 Murano with 25 miles.

Best of all they were already mounted and balanced on a set of brand new 2007 rims (also with 25 miles). :D

care to share how much the old rims sold for?

I still have them with the tires. I plan to switch them out before the winter so that I have new threads for the snow. Not sure if I will keep or sell them yet.

I finally got mine at Walmart at $135.36 each. With installation (life balance), it comes to $147.86 before tax. Pretty good price, especially after the $40 cash card rebate from Goodyear. The salesperson told me Walmart does not normally stock this tire, but someone special ordered it and didn't come pick it up, so they sold it to me. Must be my lucky day. Thanks for every one's input. By the way, do you guys do 4 wheel alignment after installing the new tires? I don't feel any alignment problem, but I heard from someone before it is good to do alignment after installing new tires.

acefr-

If the car tracks straight and true, and the old tires did not exhibit any unusual wear patterns, then there is no need to have an alignment performed.
