Hey y'all! It's good to be back. My DW and I drove our Mo to the NC mountains(near Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain) for a few days. We were visiting a couple that have been our friends since the 60s. We got back yesterday. No fishing done while we were there but we had a great time going to bluegrass and gospel sings out in the fresh mountain air. Got some wonderful blackberry jam too :D !
Our Mo performed perfectly and got 25+ mpg!

How is the GPS unit working for you! I keep looking at Garmins at Circuit City---and I think of yours when I do---
Still haven't bought one though. I'm hoping that with all the cell phone GPS's the prices will just keep dropping. |

Sparkle, my Garmin Nuvi 660 is not 'perfect' but it is a pleasure to use. It finds routes unknown to me even around my home area;) . On our trip, it found a shorter route up and down the mountain than we had used before getting it when we drove up there last Oct. It is very helpful when approaching interstate junctions; telling you what side of the lane to use and uses the exact name of the road when it's time to turn, not just saying "turn left" but "turn left at Spring Street", etc.

Gonzo: I just relied on the internal trip data. I know it may not be that accurate but I was too lazy to fill up to the filler's rim each time and then run the numbers.
