Hi Guys,
I am in the process of installing the Nissan OEM navigation system in my '03 Murano. I got the NAV unit, color display, display controller, antenna, and center panel with switches in an eBay auction for about a grand. It came with the connectors that plug into the the display controller, but I still need the two connectors that plug into the NAV unit itself and the one that plugs into the display. Once I have them I will wire my own harness between the display, display controller, nav unit, and A/V interface.
Anybody know where I can get them without ordering the entire wiring harness?? (Junkyard searches haven't proven successful to date.)
Yeah, I know the aftermarket GPS's are great. I have a Nuvi 660 which is totally awesome, but there is just something about having an OEM setup. Plus, I'm always up for a challenge! :D

Hi Guys,
I've gotten a few questions about how I am going to make this wiring harness. It's really not all that difficult, it will just take some time. I have the factory wiring diagram, and have "de-coded" it. :D All of the connections to the color display come from the display controller, and most of the other connections are from the display controller to the navigation unit itself, with a couple to the A/V unit for voice guidance, etc. Virtually all of the other signals required to integrate the OEM navigation to the main wiring harness, (signals like: Illumination Signal, Ignition Signal, Vehicle Speed Signal, etc.), are available through the connector that plugs into the integrated display unit. (Amber display.)
I have put together an Excel spreadsheet with a page each for the color display, display controller, and navigation unit, show which signals need to be connected to get everything to work. If you would like to receive it, please PM me with your email address and I will gladly send it to you!
