 For those who are concerned with auto arming, there is a way you can program that.

You need special programming tools for that which is hard to come by unless you know someone at Nissan dealer, like me.

There is however a hard way to do most of the things mentioned above. For example, if you want last place on headlight switch to be AUTO instead of first you can change plug from one relay to another but like i said its hard and it will take you forever to do that.

Anyways there are some aftermarket solution to common problem. Here is what I have on my MO that i installed myself.

1. After market timer for Lighter plug. I installed this on rear cargo since i didnt want to run all wires from here to there, anyways this kit has four output means you can control for sockets. How it works? Well its really easy, take two wires from oem socket input into one of the port on kit then take another two wire and hard wire it to any live wires. Thats it, once power it cut off from oem socket it will take 5, 10 30 mins before power is turned off by timer. Now you might ask why dont we just connect socket to hot wire and hell with the kit, well only benefit of this kit is if you forget to turn off whatever that was plugged you dont have to worry about it.

I have more stuff installed but i will list that later. If you want help with any of this kits (read all my post before asking for help) let meknow.

I'll create another post or find one that exist and post rest of options i have.

Only thing and only oneeee thing that i coult not find a good solution to is of course THE FUKKING CUP HOLDER. I tried various stuff but nothing satisfied me. Only soulution i finally came up with, please dont laugh, a Taco Bell extra large drink cup. Whatever you have or drink dump it in one of this cup and your good to go. It will not move a bit no matter what. If you leave that cup in there long enough and you might have a moving Murano Bell.

My experince tells me, if want somthing done at nissan dealer bug them until they give in or else it wont happen. Another thing dont go to dealer that have more than one brand. Most of dealers have one side for nissan or somthing and another side for VW or toyota or somthing. Go to dealer that has only Nissan line up. They can help you best way.

Other that one problem above i dont think Murano is that bad for recently introduced concept.

Did you find the flip down plastic tab in the cupholder compartment? Helps with smaller drinks (actually without the flip down thing, the entire cupholder would be useless)

4) For a $30,000+ vehicle, the lack of MP3 support is atrocious. I guess I am just too young to be driving this kind of vehicle. Maybe Nissan assumes the older crowd that typically buys SUV's doesn't know what an MP3 is.

While it's probably true in both meanings, it still really Hurts>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>... This getting old sucks, "Grand father" OW. ! Grip :D

At the cost of electronic these day they should bit the bullet and install a 250gig HD with a CD drive to load it with. Yea!!!

Hey gotta take one for the team every so often! :D

I am pretty happy with the PAC adapter right now, only difference is no way to display MP3 info on the display screen (like a real mp3 player).

And Nissan can have it for free. If Administration would permit I would love to see Someone email and snail mail a hard copy of this thread to Nissan. I don't want to to do something that would violate any privacy or other rights, so I won't do it unless PMed or something from Adm. but it is almost priceless.

Beacuse such "Delphi" groups rarely have :

1. The members own actually bought the product.
2. Actually use the products for such EXTENDED HANDS ON periods before the meetings.
3. Have such outstandingly knowledgeable members.
4. Their interaction is usually limited to being conducted at the meetings. (This is usually the biggest drawback of these groups)
5. They are paid for services and have the usual political concerns related to job advancement etc.

THIS IS AN AWESOME Collection of information that to a real degree distills all of this forum into "What Nissan needs to do" to improve and continue the line of MURANO.

Nissan needs to realize that they have really "Started Something" with the MO and act accordingly. We are ALL lucky to be part of the birth of what can become a legend in the automotive Industry.

However, IT is being seriously copied and others will eat Nissan's Lunch unless the stay out in frontwith both innovations and fixes and refinements.

This thread is a fine example of the "The forum at it's best" True exchange" almost "Brainstorming" if you will which is hard when we are all separated and without sound and only reduced visualizations.

Wonder why I love this forum and feel so connected to them, This is a big part of it the thoughtful inputs are captivating. (it's also a great place to get Ideas for new accessories)

Just my 2 cents worth (by the way did you know their used to be a cent sign on the "typewriters" of old) Grip :D
