I haven't seen this posted before, so I figure I'd post it.

The company behind it makes very quality parts and customer service is great. Owners of them for other Nissans notice smoother shifts. They usually come in 2 sets (front and rear). These are the fronts only, which are the only ones available for the Murano. I want to say the rear ones were near impossible to install. |

The following is from the manufacturer's website:
"Motor Mount Inserts (MMI's) Help to eliminate excess engine movement. Used in conjunction with the original stock motor mount, these inserts will help to:
-eliminate wheel hop, giving you better off-the-line traction
-drastically improve shifting in both automatics and manuals
-improve throttle response by eliminating drivetrain movement.
Hmmm... let's look at these claims. First of all, I seriously doubt wheel-hop is a problem for any Murano driver. Secondly, since the MO is "shift-less" how does this improve shifting? Thirdly, that claim is baseless unless you are driving a muscle car, and the MO is definitely no muscle car.
It is amazing what people will sell to the unsuspecting public, and even more amazing that people fall for these claims.
Just one guy's opinion...

Speaking from experience, every last one of those claims is true, Motor Mount inserts do make those differences. However you're absolutely right about them being a completely unnecessary product for the Murano. My Sentra benefited a ton from these (eliminated wheel hop, smoother shifts, etc).
To those who do go after these, you will notice an increase in vibration in the cabin, because the engine vibration will now transfer to the frame of the vehicle rather than be absorbed by the stock motor mounts. |

| To those who criticize me for posting...I been doing a ton of modifications to my Maxima and I always just check the Murano sections of the site to see what is available...if I see something nobody has mentioned here before I drop it in a post :) |

Hilbe-
Please don't get me wrong, I most definitely was not criticizing your posting. I just wanted to point out some "flaws" in the claims posted by the distributor. That's all.
