| Both have had favorable reviews on this board, but more people have the CT's here. On tirerack, the Avon ST's have pretty good customer ratings. I don't think you can go wrong with either, although only the CT comes in stock size 235/65/18. The Avons you would have to get 265/60/18. |

| Have you considered the Kumho Solus KR21? This comes in a 235/65/18 suited for the MO and has a pretty good treadlife warranty. I plan to get some drop shipped from tire rack at $78.00 USD per tire/not bad. |

I have the CTs in stock size.
I am VERY happy with them. Quiet, good riding, good tread wear so far - and great traction. Some have reported a slight drop in fuel economy but I run mine at 38 psi all around so no difference. Michelin generally makes pretty good tires and these are no exception.
BTW, I have a full size GY spare so it was important to me to keep the stock size. As well, some have suggested the ride on a lower sidewall ratio (60 series vs. 65) has a detrimental effect to ride. |

Ditto that thought.
I really like my CT's, lightyears superior to the goodyears. |

| Personaly I have found the OEM tires to be a great combo of parameters for me. I am an ON road driver. :) |

Generally this is true, but tire construction also plays a role. I have the Avons and have to admit that ride comfort, traction and tread noise (or lack there-of) is superior to the Goodyears in every way. I do inflate my Avons to a higher tire pressure (35 psi) than stock (33 psi), but ride quality has been excellent. But this is on Southern California roads. YMMV.

| Well I went with the avon's in 265/60/18. Got them for a total of $635 with an alignment. Guy at the shop told me I should keep my old ones just in case there was any future problems with say the.........transmission. Said Nissan might not like it that we put the off size. What do you all think? Sure dont wat four tires in my garage attic if I dont have to. |

I like that guy's thinking. However, there is no need to keep the OEM tires.
