Hey everybody, I'm getting ready to order a set of 20's for my Murano but I'm not sure what size of tires to get. I would like the overall tire diameter to remain the same as stock but I would like the tires to be slightly wider than stock. Only an inch or two. I'm very unfamiliar with the metric tire sizes, could anyone help me out or give me some suggestions?? Thanks.

Thomas-
Check out this tire size comparator. It is very helpful in comparing tire sizes.

| You would probably want 255/50R20. They are exactly the same outside diameter, and 4/5ths of an inch wider. |

There was one Mo owner here who used this the Miata.net calculator and screwed up on his wheel order. I wouldn't trust that calculator.
I use this site. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp |

| Tirerack.com can also recommend some +2 sizes on 20"rims appropriate for your MO with the tool on their website. |

Hmm... I could be wrong though. I though there was a case that the numbers were off. Maybe it was in a different forum with a different vehicle. |

Hello Mo Owners
Firstly, congratulations! This is one of the best forums I've come across... very informed.
I am new to the forum and located approx 22 hours flight time away in Singapore. I purchased a murano 4 mths ago, and thinking of upsizing to 20inch wheels. Based on the tire charts, the best fit would be 255/50/R20... but in my country, most tire shops do NOT carry this size. What is in stock are mostly 265/50/R20 (i guess they're more popular here)... which is about +3.03% diameter different to the stock tyres.
Can someone shed some light on the negative implications this has (if any)?
Thanks! |

Welcome to the forum.
The following link will take you to the thread that showcases metalaxe's MO that is shod with 265/50/20 Nitto NT405S tires, He claims in the thread that he experiences "a little rubbing noise when making a tight U-turn, but otherwise, no problems".
